• The Leatherlords are a group of men formally organized as a "Brotherhood" for  the common purpose of promoting, encouraging, teaching and continuing the rich traditions of the Gay Leather Community within the leather, BDSM, fetish community, otherwise known as a "Leather Lifestyle".  Our mutual energies, resources and activities  benefit not only the brotherhood, but also the greater community at large.
   

• The Leatherlords encourage the development of social interaction through "game nights", campouts, day trips and a variety of other activities that do not necessarily bind to activity schedules of bars. 

•  We encourage better insights into ourselves through seminars, rap sessions, etc. which address our expectations, experiences, ambitions and goals both individually and as members of a peer society. 

• The Leatherlords welcomes your interest and invites you to join in some of our activities so you may conclude for yourself whether you might wish to consider making Application for Membership. If you are interested in making such an application, please contact the Leatherlords. 

Our Protocol

• According to Webster's Dictionary - Protocol is the code of ceremonial forms and courtesies of precedence, etc. accepted as proper and correct in official dealings.
   

• In the Leather Community there is also protocol.  Signs of courtesy and respect we give each other in the manner, in which we act, speak and dress.
   

• Although there is no absolute in regard to leather protocol, there are some givens as either being historical or currently accepted.
